Each of them contributes to our firm in valuable ways, and we wouldn’t be who we are without them. Our skilled staff helps keep our attorneys on track, and manage their time and workload, as well as help keep our clients happy! They are also beneficial in helping our firm provide our clients with top-notch legal work, at the budgets and on the timetables they require.
Our clients and our firm are lucky to have Anna and Shelly on their side!
Anna K. Maggard
Anna recently celebrated her 25th anniversary with the firm. She is originally from Jackson, Tennessee, and moved to Nashville to attend college at Belmont University. Upon receipt of her B.A. from Belmont, Anna’s first job after graduation was with the firm in 1996, when the firm was then known as Williams & Prochaska, P.C. As the firm’s longest-tenured employee, she is Managing Paralegal and Office Manager. Anna’s duties include intake and review of all new cases that come into the firm, drafting and filing initial bankruptcy and collection pleadings, docketing, and ensuring that files are properly prepared for the attorneys at each stage of the case. Additionally, she oversees client billing and accounts receivables and payables, as well as collection payment intake and distribution.
When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Macy, and miniature dachshund, Rocky, exercising, crafting, reading and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers basketball and football teams.
Shelly will celebrate 20 years with the firm this year. She is from Kingston Springs, Tennessee, and has been with the firm since 2001, after her tenure with J.C. Bradford & Company. Shelly began as the firm’s receptionist, and is now a bankruptcy and collections paralegal.
She is usually the first contact a client has with our firm either in person or on the telephone, and she works diligently to make sure every client and every call is taken care of promptly. She assists with day-to-day operations, document filings with the Court, file management, and research.
